Brendan Hopkins is a kind and trustworthy animal caregiver. One of our dogs has some special diet requirements and can be somewhat demanding in his need for attention. Brendan is very detailed oriented and made sure that all of his diet needs were met. In addition, he stayed at our home to make sure the little guy wouldn't get lonely. Our other dog is pretty low maintenance, but Brendan made sure she wasn't left out and gave her lots of attention too. It was reassuring to know that not only were our dogs being cared for but also our home. Brendan collected the mail and maintained the house as well. When we returned, the house looked exactly as it did when we left it. When I needed to give information to Brendan about returning a couple of hours late, he was immediately available and accommodating, and he contacted me when he had any questions. I appreciated his communication. Our best gauge was how our dogs responded upon our return. A pet owner can tell when their animals are stressed, and both of our dogs were healthy and happy. Our dogs respond very well to his calm and kind demeanor. I will use Brendan again as a house sitter and animal caregiver. Our family is very confident and pleased with the job he did, and I am happy to recommend him to others.
