Pet care experience
I have walked dogs off and on since I was in college and have a range of experience with breeds and sizes. My family rescued our first dog, Sapphire, from the D.C. Humane Society in 2007. She's a hurricane Katrina rescue from New Orleans. We were very happy to be able to provide her a loving home. I love to take dogs on long walks and to parks. I also love spending quality with older, less energetic dogs. I have experience administering oral medication and injections to dogs.

Brendan is a dog's best friend! He is a kind and loving caregiver for our 10-year old rescue when we our traveling and can't bring her with us, or when we just want her to have an extra afternoon walk. He's completely reliable and a terrific help to us!

I love to take dogs on brisk and fast paced walks. If there is a park on route, I like to let them sniff around and explore the surroundings that they may not always have time or opportunity to stop in.
