Looking for a hiking buddy!
Pet care experience
Ever since I can remember, I’ve been around and loved animals. I’ve had numerous fish, a guinea pig, and a bearded dragon. Right now, I only have my dog, a miniature poodle. My parents were very influential in teaching me to love and care for animals as well as how to read their body language. My current dog, Slapshot (we’re a big hockey family), is 11 years young and looking for other dogs to meet. I’m available to pet sit after 5pm on Wednesdays through Sundays and all day on Mondays and Tuesdays as well as really early (roughly 5:30 am) hour long hikes before work if your dog is an early riser. I can do overnights most nights but those vary depending on my schedule. Looking forward to meeting some new dogs!

Brendan is a really good friend of mine from college. When it comes to animals, Brendan is one of the most caring people I've met. He will go out of his way to talk to and pet dogs, and has a natural talent for calming even the most frantic pup. He's the definition of responsible and knowledgeable.

A typical day
I almost always go to a local hiking trail (I tend to mix it up for which one I go to to keep things interesting) for walks and I usually go for 1-2 hours. On Mondays and Tuesdays I do different day trips such as more intense and farther away hiking adventures (nothing too crazy though, my 9 pound dog has made it up every time and loves it!). Other times I’ll go to a local dog park for some more socializing. Lastly, although not fully fenced, my yard is almost completely surrounded with natural barriers and fences and the yard itself is pretty sizable so fetch and other outdoor games are a pretty frequent occurrence!
