I have had various pets since I was young, dogs mostly but cats and fish too. There are neighbors whose dogs have to stop at our house to say hi when they are on their walk we connect so well. I enjoy learning what each pet likes, their special place to be scratched or rubbed or if they just want to sit with you. I volunteer with a military pet sitting group called DogsOnDeployment it’s such a joy to help out our young military families. I am drawn to animals and they to me. I currently have no pets of my own so I have time to be “grandma” to others pets. Playing fetch is a great workout for me and the dog and who doesn’t need sunshine and fresh air in their life?!
