Pet care experience
Animals have always been my passion. I have tons of experience caring for all different types of dogs, as well as cats, smaller companions such as bunnies or guinea pigs, even our lovely reptile friends, like my bearded dragon, Lyza. I’m back on Rover after a few years. I took some time off to focus on myself and work full time. But I’ve made the best decision of my life recently to put my passion for animals first and this is where I’m starting off. Looking forward to meeting you all and your wonderful furbabies 🥰🐾

Off the chart amazing
Brenda boarded our 6 year old dog, Zoey, while we were on vacation and did a wonderful job! Brenda communicated often, sent pictures and videos and kept us updated. Zoey had daily walks and interactions with other dogs in the community.
Brenda is the BEST. This was the first time I ever left my dog with someone, and saying I was very nervous would be an understatement. Brenda answered all of my questions and addressed all of my concerns. She made me feel super comfortable, and my dog had a BLAST. She sent me pictures and videos throughout the entire stay. My dog was extremely comfortable, and had fun playing with Brenda’s pup. She was exhausted in the best way when she got home. I will definitely be using Brenda again! Would highly recommend!
Brenda was great. Took Ice for walks and the dog park. Got pictures frequently. Seemed like my boy had a great time with her. I'd recommend her

I live in a first floor apartment with private entrance. I don’t have a backyard, but I live in a quiet area in woodlawn. The neighborhood is great for long walks. I’m also about 10mins away from the dog park, which Romeo loves. Romeo has a crate for his comfort, but he is free to roam the apartment at all times. I can accommodate another crate if your dog needs one, or they can always use the one I have here. I also have a doorway gate I use to occasionally separate the pups when dog sitting so that they don’t eat each other’s food.

I would need to know how your dog behaves around other dogs, men, and children. I definitely want to make sure everyone, including your dog, feels safe and secure.
A typical day
We'll go for long walks and practice some training. If we have the time we'll go to the dog park where they could make friends and play for as long as they want! If they enjoy hikes, my favorite places are Plotter kill preserve in Rotterdam, and Peebles Island in Cohoes.

I currently work full time for an animal hospital. I’m available most weekends for boarding at my home. As well as check ins/walks while you’re away.
