Hi! My name is Brenda and I have experience working with dogs for over 10 years. I am a photographer in New York City, very responsible, loving, and caring. I am very friendly and would be more than happy to take care of your pup or cat. I love meeting new people and making new friends. I really enjoy spending time with pets, playing around, and taking them on long walks. I'm sure I'll love your pet and I hope they also enjoy my company :)

Brenda was great with Gus! Even though our trip was a little last-minute, she made time for a meet & greet. Gus warmed up to her instantly. Gus is a senior guy and needs a fair amount of extra care, which Brenda gave him. He doesn't really have use of his back legs anymore, so he uses a cart for walks. She did a great job protecting his feet and making sure his walks were easy on him. He was also on a couple of medicines while we were away. Brenda sent us plenty of updates and photos, which we loved getting. Gus looked like he had a fantastic weekend!
Brenda was very responsive and available on short notice. She took great care of our cat and texted to let us know everything went well. I would gladly recommend her!
Brenda did a wonderful job watching our dog for a long weekend. She was responsive, and sent pics throughout her stay. She was able to add an additional night at the last minute due to our family emergency. Would highly recommend!
Brenda has a gentle way about her that has a comforting effect on our high strung dog. She also accommodated us when our evening out ran later than expected and we appreciate her consideration.

I always ask for specific instructions when pet-sitting. I check for eating times, number and times for potty breaks, favorite treats, if they get along with other dogs and/or kids, etc. Other than that, I make sure they have a great time!
Information Brenda L. would like to know about your pet
Before I agree to take care of any dog I would like to know if the dog has any special need. I believe this is very important when taking care of a dog. I would also like to know if the dog likes sleeping, walking, playing, etc. Since every dog is different it is good to know what they like to do. Last, but not least, I would like to know if the dog is dog and/or cat friendly. Just in case I would take him or her for a walk and we run into any pets outside.
A typical day
My dog-sitting style focuses on being really friendly. I will take the dog for a walk around the neighborhood. The time we will spend walking depends on the breed, the size of the dog, and the weather. When sleeping, he or she will sleep in his or her bed, unless I am told differently. I will pet him and make sure he is okay the whole time. If he is allowed on the couch, we can watch tv together, I would take him/her out for fresh air, play, and spend quality time together!

I am available for pet sitting any day of the week and on weekends. And I am available for walks anytime from Saturday to Tuesday and anytime after 5 pm from Wednesday to Friday.
