Pet care experience
My experiences in the military, working as a nurse, training and competing as an athlete, parenting, life experiences, time spent working with animals, combined with my values are what makes me different. I’ve had pets of every kind for over 30 years. I’ve completed several training courses for dogs. I live with my daughter and our Dane, Roxie. Dogs get lots of exercise and love at my house! My daughter loves entertaining our guests by playing ball, tug or giving belly rubs so they are more comfortable here. In addition to time in the fenced yard, I take them for walks or runs at least twice each day. I follow all instructions I’m given. We only use positive reinforcement and patience for training. I have experience administering meds. I send lots of updates so owners know how their pet is doing. I have experience with all breeds and temperaments. I can trim nails and bathe most pets.

I would 100% recommend Brenda. This was the first vacation that I have been on without Casey that I did not worry about him at all! He was having so much fun and getting so much attention that I felt like he was on vacation too. Brenda sent an update and pictures every day. She even bought him extra treats and gave him a bath! It's so nice knowing we have someone that treats Casey like we do. I would have never met Brenda without Rover. Thank you Rover!
This was probably the best experience anyone could ever ask for. I have always boarded Peanut but had to find care for her immediately this time and all places were full due to Spring Break. Brenda was absolutely amazing! She sent pics and videos throughout the week to let me know Peanut was ok and doing well with the others. She gave her treats, took her for rides and literally loved her as her own. If anyone is looking for someone that has a love for animals and will treat them the best then this is the person you want!!! Brenda, thank you for everything!
Brenda and Hannah did an amazing job of taking care of Ruby for the long weekend. We highly recommend Brenda for your pet boarding needs.
Brenda and her daughter are the kindest and most caring people I have ever known. We know that our little fur baby is treated like a member of their family. Poptart can't wait to see them each time we go.

I don’t have a “preferred breed.” We’ve watched every pet from German Shepard, cane corso, chihuahua, Great Dane, pug, cats, hedgehogs, monkeys, pit bulls, boxers, cattle dogs, etc…
A typical day
I have mental stimulation games for dogs and I’m an avid distance runner so I love exercising with them in my neighborhood or at the river walk if they’re good around other people and animals.

Availability
I always take dogs on an early morning and evening walk at a minimum no matter what. We give healthy treats and chews during the day. When my daughter is home from school they get lots of extra attention.
