I've been a proud and happy dog owner for 10+ years. Dogs have always been a part of my family. The dog I had the most influence on is Baloo, a Shih-Poo that my family adopted when I was in high school. He came into our home as a puppy, and I helped to potty train and socialize him. I believe positive reinforcement is the best method to communicate to a dog what is safe and desired behavior. I also know all dogs are different, and just like humans, I accept them for who they are. When my fiancé and I moved to Dallas from Houston, it was difficult to say goodbye to our family dogs, Baloo and Lucky. We are both dog lovers and felt a profound void not having one of our own, so we decided to take in Ozzie, a labradoodle, into our home! He is now 3 years old and we have loved having him in our lives. Ozzie has lots of energy and is very friendly towards people and other dogs! I am currently a student, and I spend most of of my time studying at home. I would love to host other canine friends in my home, or take him/her on a delightful walk!
