I love dogs! I have gone through training to volunteer at PAWS Chicago. I have a small male dog named George. We walk at least 3 times a day. We have 2 balconies that George loves to lounge on. There is usually someone home during weekdays, and our dog is never alone for more than 5 hours. On the weekend, even less alone time. George likes to romp or just chill. We play fetch down our long hallway and play training games to keep him occupied. He prefers dogs his size or smaller, so up to 20lbs is fine (large side of small, small side of medium). Larger low energy dogs might work as well. I dogsit for my friends so am used to having dog guests. I also foster for PAWS so I have experience with unfamiliar dogs, and accommodating their quirks. (Of course I never foster and board at the same time) We have a number of comfortable rooms, so if anyone needs alone time or their own space to eat or play for a bit, our place is perfect!
