I have owned my own personal dog(s) for about 7 years. I have loved and had family dogs since I was a child. I have become increasingly educated about training, behavior, breed history, and dog sports since I got my first dog. I am involved in the dog community and train regularly with a trainer. I spent two years volunteering at the humane society walking dogs. I also attend dog events such as shows and trials to learn and observe as much as possible. I own two dogs, one is a small 7 year old Pekingese. She is my first personal dog and I can count on her to always be consistent and a great all around dog. My other dog is an 2 year old Presa Canario. He is a more difficult dog and has taught me a lot. I strive to stay involved in my breed community and have taken him to shows and breed specific events as a puppy. I can work with you if your dogs have any issues. I am used to dog and human aggressive dogs. I believe in balanced training and will not be judgemental of your training tools but I never condone abuse. I can be sensitive to any needs that your best friend has. I am not a "small dog person" or a "large dog person." I love both and can appreciate both for their differences. At this time my schedule is open during the day throughout the week. My weekends are pretty busy. let me know what your needs are and I’ll see if I can accommodate. I will work hard to follow whatever routine makes your dog comfortable, however there are a couple of things I will not do: I will never allow a clients dog offleash in a public area, this is a liability and I want to keep your dog safe. I also do not take dogs to dog parks, there are too many variables. Even if your dog is friendly, many people are ignorant and will bring dog selective dogs to offleash parks and that dog will start a fight.
