Pet care experience

Hi there, I'm Bre! I've been a huge dog nerd my entire life, and really started to get very involved when I was around 12, when I started training, walking neighbors dogs, and within a few years I started dogsitting. I've dogsat everything from baby puppies, to elderly dogs, high energy dogs, low energy dogs, etc. I've also worked with lots of different breeds, including gundogs and retrievers, terriers, herding breeds, companion breeds, guardian breeds like Great Pyrenees and Tibetan Mastiffs, Poodles and Poodle mixes, both sight hounds(like Greyhounds) and scent hounds(like Beagles), bully breeds, etc, and I adore them all. I also have experience with dogs with anxiety, reactivity, resource guarding, working dogs, and seizures. I'm also a well experienced positive reinforcement based trainer, and am happy to help upkeep any rules you have, or even implement extra training. I went to college at SUNY Cobleskill got an associates degree in canine studies, which involved a lot of canine care and training, and worked at a service dog training organization as a trainer as well before I moved to CO. I also owner trained my own first service dog, who is now retired, and I'm currently training up a new service dog for myself. I also have experience watching cats, guinea pigs, hamsters, rabbits, bearded dragons, isopods, and I'm always excited to get to know new critters of all types. You will always get lots of photos and videos from me, at least 1 per drop in visit, and a little update on how your pets are doing. I take care of your pets as if they were my own, with lots of love and doing things they like to do, whether it be play time or just sitting and hanging out together.

Bre is an excellent caregiver for our fur babies. Dogs are such excellent judges of humans and my doggies adore her. Even my clingy, whiny baby has no issues when we leave her with Bre. And Bre did all she could to keep our very old, arthritic, tiny terrier comfortable and warm while we were away.

Bre has a vast knowledge of dogs and has helped me with many questions I've had in the past. Bre is kind, loving, and cares a lot about the dogs in their care. I had the pleasure of walking my dogs with Bre and my dogs just adored them! I hope to have the pleasure again.

We have had Bre dog sit for our 2 Goldens on several occasions, even staying at our house. She is so good with them---patient, she works on tricks and manners with them, plus she plays ball / toy with them a lot. Most importantly, she loves our dogs as if they are her own!

Bre is phenomenal with all animals! I've never met anyone who is as compassionate and caring. She has watched my children's Guinea Pig for us while we were on vacation and she treated her like she belonged to her! I highly recommend Breanna

Safety, trust & environment

The care I provide depends on what the individual dog needs. I'm happy to play fetch or take your dog on a short walk, if it's a hot day we can play inside or if they like to play with the hose we could even do that. If they just need company, I'm happy to provide some belly rubs and "good pup"s! I can also do things like feed your dog, refill their water dish, give medication, anything they need. I also am happy to keep up any training you're working on or even work on some of my own, with permission of course. For the added fee, I'm also able to brush out your dog and do their nails, provided they don't bite.

Information Bre v. would like to know about your pet

Please let me know if I will need to administer any medication or if your dog has health issues I will need to be on the look out for, such as seizures. I also would love to know what your dogs personality is like. Are they hyper? Anxious? Sociable? Etc! Just so I can make sure I am best prepared to care for your baby. Lastly, if you would like me to walk your dog and they're over 40 lbs, I need to know if they pull on a leash, especially if they will suddenly jerk on the leash.

A typical day

I love to play fetch, let them explore on a walk or in the yard if it's a larger yard, lots of cuddles and petting for dogs who enjoy that. Honestly, I do my best to tailor to whatever YOUR dog needs and enjoys, because every dog is an individual and has their favorite activities! Just let me know what they are, and I will likely be able to accommodate!
