Pet care experience
Since the day I was born I have never not had a dog! I grew up on a farm and spent a lot of my childhood taking care of various animals: dogs, cats, hamsters, bunnies, cows, chickens, and even turtles! I have a deep passion for caring for animals, and even rescued my dog Bandit and cat Coconut :) They are my babies and I understand how important the care and well-being of people's pets is, hence why I would love to be involved in helping your pet live their happiest and most comfortable life with any many sources of love as possible. It truly can take a village!

My cat Coconut has hyperesthesia, and my dog Bandit had a host of medical issues as a puppy, so I am very used to caring for animals with special care needs. I administer Coconut's medicine every night and always make sure she gets a small treat afterward. I make sure that she is stimulated when I am not home with an interactive laser with a timer, and I keep her socialized but fairly distanced from my roommate's dog.

Any information about medical issues, anxiety/temper/reactiveness, or medications I would need to administer is very important for me to know. I would never turn down a dog because of these things, however being informed of them ahead of time is necessary for me to give proper care.
A typical day
One of my favorite things to do is play frisbee with my dog! If that or something similar is something your dog loves to do then prepare for them to be happy and worn out by bedtime. I also love a nice lazy day with my pups where we just cuddle on the couch! No piece of clothing is too nice for doggy hairs.

Availability
I am a full-time university student (graduating in May!) and part-time city employee, however despite that I still have many gaps in my schedule that I am always looking for activities to fill. My hours at work have been cut down as more employees have been hired so I am available plenty of times during the week.
