2 in-home dads!

Pet care experience

My husband (Malaquias) and I have both lived with and cared for a variety of dogs our entire lives.(see baby photo with a litter of puppies) I’m also a behavior analyst with experience in dog and horse training of my own 4-legged friends. We currently have our own rescue Diva Darling Molly who goes with us pretty much everywhere. I work from home and Malaquias is at home full time so I have lots of time to let the dogs into our back yard and play. I’m also available weekdays and weekends. We have a large yard with chain link or 6 foot fence. Our own Molly has a lot of energy, but is generally very calm. We are happy to use a crate or a bed in the open house. Which ever is best for them.

These sitters are people you can leave your furbull with and know they’ll get plenty of love and accommodation! Definitely will use again next time I travel for work! I really appreciate that they sat for other people during as well because my pup could use the socialization. The poodle they have in their family wasn’t aggressive at all and they have PLENTY of yard space at their location. They also followed our feeding times. Most importantly, nothing from prior training is “broken” and they didn’t return him to me smelling funky or abused! Including plenty of update pictures, this was easily the best experience I’ve had with sitters out of the many others I’ve gone to. If you want CONFIDENT, CAPABLE, and LOVING, CHOOSE BRAXTON!!!!

Braxton did a great job of taking care of Mia! She loved playing with their dog as well!

Braxton and his partner seemed very nice and caring. Our issue with them was that our dog got out of their yard and I wasn't informed by them. I was out of town and I received a call from a lady in their neighborhood that she found my dog and he was apparently covered in poop. I couldn't reach Braxton immediately, so I was lucky enough that the lady who called me took him in and bathed him. When Braxton was in contact soon after, he did go pick up Duncan and was very apologetic. However because of this incident, I will not be rebooking with him.

MY pup had the best time with Braxton and Malaquias. We received regular updates from them and she looked like she was having the best time. When we picked her up she couldn't stop licking Malaquias which is saying a lot given that she's not particularly interested in humans. Also, she's fast asleep now. At the end of the day we have a happy, content, tired puppy. The best I could hope for. Thanks!
