A work from home artist, author, and tax preparer/bookkeeper, with many years pet sitting and boarding experience. Im a single mom of an amazing teenager & 3 wonderful fur-kids. In our non-smoking home we have Leo, 6 yrs old pitbull rescue; emotional support animal,service dog in training., and my best friend. We are inseparable. We also have 2 dog friendly, mostly indoor cats; Felis 6yrs & Prince 10yrs old. All have been with me from a very young age. Our house includes a large corner lot fenced back yard about to undergo natural habitat certification. We reside very close to several dog friendly parks that we frequent daily in the dog loving neighborhood of SE Woodstock. Our spare room/ office is perfect for our doggie guests, should they want space from our resident pets or require special (medical)care and/or feeling anxious around new pets or people. Playing ball and walks are a favorite past time. A bit about me: I have a Green Office & Sustainability Certification, am a Master Recycler and Neighborhood Tree Steward. I've been creating art and writing for many years. I grew up on an organic blueberry farm in Corbett , Or where st a young age we learned to care for many animals including livestock, geese, and neighborhood dogs and cats. I've been training dogs for 15 years and have a very good understanding and close relationship with animals. About 7 years ago we boarded a friends dog Cowboy, while they traveled abroad. Months turned into 1 1/2 years and once Cowboy went back home, we missed our guest. I've been registered with Rover as a Walker since they launched, but inactive due to cancer. Cancer free and feeling great, so recently reactivated my Rover account adding boarding and house sitting along with dog walking as available services. My son Isaac (17) also assists when boarding dogs. We accept pups to older dogs of all types and breeds. Look forward to meeting you & your fur-kid(s). We accept last minute/same day bookings .
