I’ve helped to take care of my family dog and dogsitting for friend’s/family’s dogs throughout growing up as a teenager and young adult. I’ve catsit and housesit outside of Rover for some time as well and have now done catsitting/dogsitting/housesitting through Rover since September 2022.

Fun walk
Brandon is, without exaggeration, pretty much the perfect dog- and house-sitter! Brandon took amazing care of our fussy senior dog, even going so far as to spoon-feed him to make sure he ate! We returned to a happy, healthy dog and a perfect house (that honestly was probably cleaner than we left it, haha). We will absolutely hire Brandon again and would recommend him without hesitation to anyone looking for a reliable and kind sitter.
This was a meet and greet and my dog really liked Brandon immediately. I’m looking forward to having Brandon watch Clover for the first time tomorrow.
Brandon is great with my dog and she immediately liked him. Would not hesitate to have him watch her again. And, definitely would recommend.

A typical day
If near my apartment, I love to go for walks through Inwood Hill Park, either along the river or in the forested area. If in another area, I’m happy to go for a walk in a nearby park or along the sidewalk, including whatever route a pet might be used to.

I am in graduate school, so I have some regularity in my schedule with in-person classes and in-person field work. Usually mornings and late afternoon or evenings are best in the Inwood-ish area.
