We are two 30 something professionals who have recently moved from Seattle to Monona. I was born and raised in here Wisconsin, before spending 5 years in Colorado, and 4 years in Seattle. My wife, Kaycee, is from Kentucky, and spent 6 years in Colorado before I popped the question and asked her to move to Seattle with me. We moved to Seattle because I was offered a job at an office full of dog lovers that allows me to bring our dog Della to work everyday. Since then we've added a to our family, and now with our son Theodore, are living back home to be near family. We are definitely the type of dog owners who treat their dog like a child. We spoil our Della a little too much, but we tell ourselves it's at least a little okay because we are self aware. Della has is a very sweet dog and has never had an issue with another dog. She loves all other dogs, and especially knows to be gentle with smaller dogs. We spend as much time outside as we can; going on out of town adventures, playing in our large yard or on daily walks around town. Why I love dog sitting: I have been a dog lover since I was born. I've had six different family dogs throughout my life, and they were all best friends of mine. All of my family and friends would easily classify me as a true 'dog person'. About my yard: We have a very large unfenced back yard with plans to fence some of it in the near future. We play fetch and let our dog run off leash in the huge yard but we would always have any Rover dogs in our care on a safe extendable leash unless the dog owner goes over other safe options with us. It's a great space for burning some energy or just bathing in the sun sun. My experience administering medication: I have little experience administering medication, but would be open to learning more.
