My wife, Jenn, and I are two outdoorsy animal lovers who would love to watch your dog while you're away! We live in a townhouse next to a wooded area with trails and large open grassy areas where we can run around with your dog to his or her heart's content. There are also plenty of dog parks nearby that we'd be more than happy to take your dog to! Your booking comes with swanky amenities such as unlimited belly rubs, television, music, and an abundance of squirrels to chase (outside, not in the home). Currently we're the humans for two lovable cats, Dale and Cooper, who tend to do their own thing around the house. Our family also includes a 1 1/2 year old golden retriever named Bailey, a big goofy oaf who's never met a dog or human he didn't like. Bailey usually stays with our parents during the week but frequently comes over on weekends for slumber parties and to watch football. Let us know your preference -- whether or not you'd like Bailey to keep your dog company -- and we'll be happy to accommodate. In addition to having dogs for the past decade, I also walked dogs part-time before graduate school a few years ago, so I have plenty of experience taking care of dogs of a variety of shapes and sizes. We welcome house-trained furry friends of all sizes and breeds! We treat animals like part of the family and your furry companion will be no exception. Expect 2 to 3 good walks through the neighborhood and additional potty breaks and playtime on weekdays. On weekends we may go hiking or take your dog to the dog park to romp around -- if your dog requires more or less exercise, just let us know! To ensure that your dog receives the love and attention that he or she is accustomed to, we generally watch over only one dog (and his or her siblings) at a time, though we will make occasional exceptions for very friendly dogs and only upon receiving the permission of both guests. We both have regular jobs so we ask that only dogs who will be okay at home for 8 to 9 hours during the day stay with us during the work week. On weekends we offer 24/7 supervision. We try to keep the calendar up to date, but if your date is unavailable please don't hesitate to reach out to us -- we can be flexible sometimes!
