Pet care experience
Growing up in a cat-centric household, I learned so many lessons about caring for animals and the joy it brings. I love the personality that cats reveal when they open up to you, though I often yearned for the unique companionship only a dog can offer, even teaching my cat how to fetch (or did she teach me?). Since I didn't have a dog of my own growing up, I often walked and cared for the dogs of neighbors, friends, and family. I have since been fortunate to raise my own pack, though I now have an empty home and plenty of time and love to give. My experience working with dogs ranges from small to large, well-behaved to reactive, and puppies to elderly dogs.

Brandon is phenomenal!!! We have two large breed dogs, both with different needs and challenges, and Brandon was excellent with managing both of them. He even was able to get our dog who pulls on walks to walk more gently, something we haven't been able to do! We have a dog with anxiety around new people, and she warmed up to him right away. Brandon is an excellent communicator as well, we felt assured all weekend that our pups were safe with him. We are so grateful for Brandon, he is fantastic and really goes the extra mile.
Brandon was fantastic! He took such good care of Tupelo - long walks, lots of love and sent sweet photos while I was gone. Definitely will be using his services again. ❤️
Hank had a great week with Brandon! Daily long walks, visits to the dog park, and backyard play time. Brandon was super kind and responsive and I wouldn’t hesitate to ask Brandon to keep Hank again in the future.

I have a fenced backyard with grass and plenty of room to romp and play. Multiple lounging options (dog beds washed between visits). Street-facing windows for those who like to observe the outdoors and passersby. Great neighborhood for walks and sniffs.

I like to know how your pup(s) are with other dogs, what triggers they might have as well as what rewards or actions they really love and respond to, and any other personality traits or needs that make them unique. My preference is for dogs that are active and well socialized so that we can go out and do all the things, but I'm also experienced with non-social and reactive dogs and will still have a great time hanging out one on one.
A typical day
I love long walks around the neighborhood, regularly going to Peninsula park (1 mile away). I also run most mornings, so if you pup enjoys runs I'm happy to take them with me. Fernhill park is a short drive and where I usually like to take any social dogs that are safe at unfenced dog parks (there is plenty of open space there). Hikes in the summer months are also an option.
