This gig isn’t about the money for me- I dogsit for Rover simply because I love dogs! :) I grew up with cocker spaniels around and have worked as a volunteer at the Richmond and Charlottesville SPCAs, walking and taking care of dogs of all breeds and ages.

Pretty flexible when it comes to times. The best thing was that she was willing to stop by to introduce herself to the dogs before taking them out for a walk which was overwhelmingly appreciated. I am one to believe that dogs have a good sense of personality and they introduced themselves to her without holding back. She sent me a picture of them when she was done walking them.
Brandie was wonderful with our two labs! We appreciated her excellent and prompt communication, flexibility and openness to meeting beforehand. So thoughtful in her care, she took real interest in learning everything about how to care for them both. We felt at ease knowing she would hang out with our dogs all day as her software job allows for remote work. This was a last minute booking and our first housesitting arrangement through Rover but we will definitely call on Brandie again!
Max had a great time with Brandie. Brandie kept me updated throughout the day and sent me pics of Max. Thank you Brandie!
Brandie did an awesome job taking care of my Ollie. She kept me updated on his stay and how he was adjusting. I am so happy to see Ollie in capable hands. Will definitely use her again.

I am experienced with most all dog breeds, ages, sizes, and energy levels from my experience volunteering at the SPCA. But please let me know if there’s anything I can do to make your dog more comfortable or if there’s anything to watch out for!
A typical day
I will take your dog on long walks through the neighborhood (as to your dog’s ability) for them to explore. I’m also a runner so I can take your dog on ~3 mile runs if you like! I’ll play with your dog with whatever toys you bring as well!
