For every new client who submits a request, a meet and greet will be arranged prior to the stay. Let me know your availability for this and we'll get it booked right away. Things I find important to know: > Are all shots are up to date, any ongoing or new health conditions, or any medication that will need to be administered during the stay? > Any behavioral issues or quirks, and what is general temperament (is your pet fearful/anxious, territorial, a sneaky escape artist, countersurfer, food or toy aggression, thunderstorm anxiety, interaction with other dogs, any no-pet spots, doorbell/knocking trigger)? > I want to know about your pet's likes (and dislikes). Do they have a favorite toy, does he/she like walks, know any commands, any special spots he/she likes to be rubbed or scratched? > What are the feeding instructions, how much food and how often? > Normal potty break schedule/ habits For every new client who submits a request, a meet and greet will be arranged prior to the stay. If we can't meet in person prior to the visit I may request a phone call or video chat prior to confirm any details I may need to know, as well as to answer any questions you may have for me.

How I spend time with your pet during the booking is definitely open to your input and instruction. This will be discussed during our Meet-and-Greet appointment together. During my time with your pet, it may include play with their favorite toys, lots of petting and cuddles according to their comfort level. Chill time at home or a walk around the neighborhood is possible. If you are comfortable with me driving your pup, a walk down one of the many nature paths or parks in OBX, or the beach can be arranged!
