Pet care experience
I am a trainer with 25 years of working with dogs of all types, including shelter dogs. I currently assist the behavior team and foster department at KC Pet Project. I mostly work from home and I will take your pup for a nice long walk every day on a different trail or to a different lake or conservation area etc. A fulfilled dog is a good dog haha I am familiar with all types of dogs and breeds from puppies to seniors, large and small, blind dogs, feral dogs, dogs with behavioral issues, and I love them all. I do have a dog-friendly home with a fenced yard and 20+ trees (lots of squirrels) and no children present or visiting. I have a dog and I may also have a foster so please check with me if your dog is not dog friendly. I may have the ability to keep the dogs completely separate and go on separate adventures.

I don't like leaving Kuma, but when I have to, I know that she's in excellent hands with Brandi. She treats her like her own dog and takes her on adventures (she doesn't get with me). :) Brandi is very knowledgeable of dog behavior and just plain loves animals. Plus, she's a really good person!
Simply the best person I know
Brandi took wonderful care of our dog for several days while we were out of town. She provided updates/pictures each day that we were away - we really appreciated the excellent communication & updates! We would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter — she’s awesome!

I am very aware of safety and I keep my eyes on the dog/s. They are always with me. I have a fenced back yard and if I have to run an errand and they can’t come with me, I leave them in my dog friendly living room that can be closed off. They can also be crated if preferred.

Let me know if your dog is not dog friendly because I may have a foster dog or a hospice foster dog at my home. Also, if your dog is over 20 lbs, I can’t host them if they can’t do a flight of stairs.
A typical day
Everyday, we go for an adventure to a different area for a long walk on a trail or to the lake. After that, I work from home and they are inside with me with lots of breaks in my backyard.

I work from home part-time and my schedule is my own and it basically centers around the dogs. Taking dogs for an adventure is always my first priority every day. I fit errands in around their nap schedule
