Pet care experience
I'm very experienced in caring for animals. I've always have had cats and dogs growing up and I knew I wanted to work with animals early on. I went to an Academy for Pet Grooming, and WALA! Here I am 4 years later grooming and pet sitting. I also have a good sized fenced backyard for your pups to run and play. My dog Penny (German shepherd) and I are always outside and she makes friends quickly. Doggie day care in my home will have the doggies energy burned out with lots of play in the backyard. If your pups are needing grooming I can offer that as well. I work at petsemse grooming and i have 5+ years experience. I can do so before pick up of boarding pups so they can be all clean before they go home. If you have any questions please shoot me an email, text or can call me on my cell. Does your pup have any favorite toy(s) or blankets? I always recommend to bring those along with your boarding stay so they have something familiar. Are there any things that may make your dog tick? Such as door bells, kids, sudden movements, etc? I do not own any cats but if there is a cat that I am pet sitting at the time of your pups stay, I would like to know how they are with cats. (I will always let a pet parent know if there will be a cat staying or not for the time being.) Does your pup prefer a kennel to snuggle in? Would you be bringing your own dog food that your pup is use to? The only breeds I'm not able to have in the home are Pitbulls and Rottweilers, not because I do not love these breeds. The complex I would be pet sitting in is very strict on these breeds and I can not have them on the property. Once we get settled into a house, this will change.
A typical day
My complex has a large fenced dog park right in front of my unit. Your pup will be able to make new friends on a regular basis. The pups that your dog will encounter are pups that frequently attend the park on a daily basis. I have met the owners as well as their pets and know their pets temperate.
