My name is Brandi. I am originally from California but moved to Colorado Springs as my husband was stationed to Fort Carson. I raised and trained my current German Shepherd Dog, have unofficially helped train friends' and families' dogs, as well as fostered a few kittens that were rescued off of the streets, which I housed and cared for until they found their forever homes. I am a certified veterinary assistant and I have 6 months of experience working in a veterinary hospital where I cared for dogs and cats of all ages and health levels. I have always loved animals and I fear no creature. I can handle horses, cats, dogs, birds (a little bit scared of those), rodents, lizards, fish, and other reptiles, mammals and amphibious beings. I am currently a stay at home wife which often leads me bored and restless. I figured, why not put my passion to good use and care for your pets, right? I cannot do overnight stays, and because of my rental agreement, I cannot do business from my apartment, meaning I cannot have pets dropped off to me. I will need to be home by 4-5 so I can take care of my own dog, and husband, but otherwise I am readily available. I can offer unofficial basic dog training. I do not have any certifications or official credentials. Therefore, any and all training will be basic commands and manners. I have attended basic training, advanced training, and CGC preparation training sessions and picked up some skills that I have carried on through helping others train their pets. I can train your dog the basic sit, down, stay, come, set up a foundation for heel-side walking, and set up a foundation for potty training. I will respect all dietary needs of your pets. I do not provide my own treats and I do not believe in over-feeding. I provide my own poopie-bags and do not charge for their use. I will inform pet parents of any abnormal behaviors or bowel movements as those can be the first signs of a health problem. I will ask that the owner let me know who their veterinary office is in the case that there is an emergency so that I can get the animal to professional care promptly. I always carry a self defense stun gun with me on walks as I wish to ensure complete safety of myself and your furry friend.
