I'm comfortable caring for all animals, big and small! I've been an animal lover since I was a young child. I got my first pets that I cared for on my own in 5th grade when I had two gerbils. I was hired for my first official pet sitting job when I was 12. Since then I've always had animals in my life, either through having my own pets or pet sitting. I've been a parent to these furry, and some not so furry, babies: dogs, cats, rabbit, birds, fish, gerbils, hamsters, guinea pigs, bearded dragons, and mice...my least favorite ;) I'm intelligent, have common sense, am trustworthy and reliable. I have a vehicle and can travel anywhere in Staten Island to pet sit. I recently retired from the military after 25 years of service. I have an undergraduate and graduate degrees. I'm taking some time to decide what I want to do in the next chapter of my life and since I've always had such a fondness for animals I think that caring for pets is a great fit for me right now! I do plan to travel a bit, but my Rover calendar will be kept updated to accurately show all my dates of availability. During drop in visits or walks I will give your pets lots of love and attention! I'm able to follow detailed care instructions for pets and will make sure they are well cared for when I visit them. I will also pay close attention while in your home and will always notify you if there are any concerns regarding pet accidents or the health & safety of your pet.
