Pet care experience
Since highschool I have taken care of neighbors dogs and cats doing drop in visits for food, potty breaks, scooping litter and playtime! Since I have bought my own house, I have watched dogs for up to 3 weeks whole their owners were taking the road trip of their lives! I have experience with house training, crate training, and teaching manners and tricks to my own dog, experience with deaf dogs, experience with dogs with food allergies, and experience administratering oral medications. My husband and I also occasionally foster dogs through Tail Waggers Pet Rescue.

They were very friendly and sent pictures and updates every day. We did a meet and greet with the whole family and my puppy seemed really at ease and comfortable. I was happy to leave her in a family setting instead of boarding in a kennel.
We had an excellent experience with Brandi! Our 6 month old puppy loved it there and I felt so comfortable leaving her there while on vacation. She sent daily pics of our puppy and she always looked happy and content. Would definitely recommend!!
Brandi and her husband took great care of my almost 2 year old lab for almost a week. We got pictures and an update everyday while we were gone. (:

My wonderful husband built a dog run right off of our back porch for our own dog, Bruno. Bruno loves being able to roll in the grass, splash in his kiddie pool, or relax on the covered porch if it's hot outside. We live right near the silk city nature trail and love to take our own dog for long walks along it and let him explore. Bruno, is deaf, and trained with hand signals. He is a very friendly 3 year old pup, and loves making new friends! We have a 2 year old cat named Winston, who likes to play with Bruno on occasion, but mostly does his own thing. Our pets are allowed on furniture, and love to snuggle!

Does your pet have any special needs I should be aware of? Is your pet scared of anything that we should avoid while they are here? (A vacuum perhaps?)
A typical day
I love the silk city nature trail right by my house to take dogs on walks, but love to explore new neighborhoods and trails as well. There are some baseball fields nearby that are fun to run around in and play fetch in as well. I have lots of fun doggie toys at my house to play with too.

Availability
I am a high school teacher, spending summers at home. I'm flexible with times and want to work together to make sure that your pet's needs are met. My 10 month old daughter loves animals, and has even started saying "kitty cat"! My daughter will never be left unsupervised around your pet.
