This was by far the WORST Rover experience we’ve had and we’ve used Rover a few times, so we know it’s not the site…. It’s 100% this sitter. We had to end the stay a day early because of how uncomfortable we felt with our dog being in Brandaun’s “care”. This was especially disappointing and baffling since our Meet & Greet went so well with him the day before our dogs stay began. He lacks attention to detail, responsibility, and communication. It shouldn’t be hard to follow instructions, especially when we tried to do everything on our end to make it easy for him by leaving detailed instructions/expectations online and in print for play time, food time and general care, bringing the crate, toys, food, etc. Absolutely NO INSTRUCTIONS WERE FOLLOWED AND OUR DOG ATE MAYBE 2 cups of food over a 4 day stay. Mind you, our dog is an 8month old, German shepherd who eats about 4 cups a day. We found out about her not eating on her 3rd day of the stay after having to continually pry any information or pictures from him that we could. We’ve now weighed our dog and she has lost 4 pounds in 4 days. The lack of communication is what really is bothersome because we honestly do not know what and where our dog was the whole 4 days. From the bits and pieces we did hear from him, our dog was taken to multiple locations without our knowledge or permission. OUR DOG ALSO ESCAPED HIS HOME AND RAN INTO AN ALLEY WITH A BICYCLIST because she was left unsupervised and he just nonchalantly told us this over a quick FaceTime call. We reiterated we did not like to hear that and we felt uncomfortable with this, but he did not seem to care. Also, please note that he apparently does not have a fenced yard, although it says it on his profile. He told us that his yard was not fully fenced so that is why he took our dog to a well populated parking garage and let her roam free, even though there were cars around. Absolutely UNSAFE and we voiced our concerns, yet again to be ignored. Brandaun does what he wants. He does not listen to your instructions. We set very clear expectations, wrote plenty of notes on her profile, printed out important notes and gave to him day of, as well as reiterated MULTIPLE times that our dog is not allowed to do certain things or that we felt uncomfortable with her doing things that we’ve trained her not to do. We constantly had to ask for updates and pictures, but would get photos of her where you could barely see her or he would give excuse after excuse. “I’m going to leave y’all in suspense” “I don’t have enough storage or space on my phone” even though we offered to communicate through the rover app so then he didn’t have to save anything on his phone. We really tried to give him the benefit of the doubt throughout this stay, but we are absolutely heart broken that our sweet puppy did not eat for days and didn’t even get to play catch which is her favorite thing in the world. We are extremely disappointed and upset. This is not an example of “quality pet care”. We advise not to book with him.

Professional, reliable and flexible. Brandaun took care of my little Chihuahua when I had an emergency trip out of town. I so appreciated he was able to care for my little chi on such a short noticed. i definitively will contact him again.
