I had hoped for a positive experience as our initial meeting went well and our dogs seemed to connect with Branae. The reality was very upsetting. The day we left Branae didn’t show up at our house until 8pm at night, meaning our two Jack Russell dogs were by themselves for 10 hours. I had fed our dogs that morning and by 6pm was worried that they hadn’t been fed and needed to be walked soon. I had to call my brother in law as she didn’t respond when I messaged at 6pm until over an hour later to check on our dogs. Once she arrived, she brought a male with her which is against policy and never asked if this would be ok. It’s hard enough to trust someone who’s vetted through Rover and very concerning to have someone who isn’t in your home. All of this was upsetting to see on our cameras, and honestly her response when I questioned why she took so long was that she had to work later, and that she thought I agreed that our dogs could be by themselves for up to 12 hours. This is ridiculous and lacks acknowledgement of the concerns of two puppies being by themselves for that long. I asked her to leave that same night even though she was supposed to stay over night as trust had already been lost, and reported my concerns to Rover who were very responsive and helpful. I do not recommend this sitter as her behavior was unprofessional and against policy. Additionally, her responses were similar to someone doing you a favor versus someone being paid to watch and stay the night with your dogs.

Branae took such good care of our puppy over the 13 days that she had him. He had more fun than he does at home ! She gave him a lot of playtime, walks to the park and socialization with other dogs. I would definitely use her again.
