When bringing pets to our home, we have a fully furnished basement that’s separated by a gate to upstairs. We keep our animals upstairs and our guests downstairs. I spend most of my free time in the basement so our guests will most certainly not be alone, however we do have a bedroom down there that they can escape to if they would like their space. We allow our animals on the furniture so if they want to curl up on the queen size bed we have down there or the couch then they are more than welcome to. When it comes to caring for pets at a clients home, I always enter with caution, even after being introduced. Though we may have met I know I can still seem as a stranger so I make sure to be friendly and calm while visiting with them as to not upset them. I always treat our guests and guests I’m visiting as they were my own. I love my animals very much and I know how important it is to want your animals to get as much attention and affection as they would if you were there yourself.
