Brad's Home Dog Boarding in QA
Pet care experience
My house is located on the West Side of Queen Anne Hill on a ~8,500 sf lot. I have a large backyard that is fully fenced in where your puppy can run around and play the day away. The yard is completely fenced in and when they are tuckered out, there is plenty of space to lay out in the sun (when it decides to reveal itself) on my back deck. I have been around dogs my whole life and you can rest assured that they will be in good hands. I have experience with old dogs and young ones, big or small. I am from the Seattle area and have lived here my whole life. I know the city well, especially the best places to take your pup on an adventure. I currently own a Jack Russell/Fox Terrier mix that is the perfect playmate for any dog. I cant wait to lend a helping hand (and home). Please message me to set up a time for a meet & greet so that you and your dog can make sure this is a great fit! PLEASE SPECIFY DROP-OFF & PICK-UP TIMES IN YOUR MESSAGE. *I charge $15 for half-days (12+ hours with the dog in a given day)
Reviews
Balderdash had a great visit with Brad and Charlie (the little Jack Russell). We got regular updates and pictures which were fun and made our separation easier. Thanks Brad, Charlie, and Rover for a wonderful alternative to boarding kennels!
Comet always enjoys his stay with Brad and Charlie. We appreciate his flexibility. Thank you Brad
Comet loved his stay with Brad and enjoyed the company of another dog. We would definite use Brad again for dog sitting. It was the best experience ever for 1st time dog owners. Thank you Brad!
We had a great first experience with Brad. He was very accommodating for our meet-and-greet, and drop-off/pick-up times. He was great about sending photo updates, and took our dog Hildy with him on his weekend outings. She had a blast, and was worn-out from her 3-day Playdate!

The more an owner can put down in the "care instructions" portion of their dog's Rover profile, the more comfortable I feel. Here are some typical questions I will ask of a dog owner during a meet and greet: -Do they get along with other dogs? (most important b/c I have a dog) -Have you left them with someone before when you have traveled? -Do they have a regular feeding & bathroom schedule? -Are they prone to bolting or trying to escape? -What is their usual routine during the day? -Do they get aggressive or protective over food? -Do they chew or gnaw on things other than dog toys? -Do they have a favorite toy? -Any types of toys that are off limits? -Are they allowed on the furniture? -Do they use a crate? -Are there specific things that can trigger anxiety and/or accidents? -Do they bark at noises/strangers?

Here's where we'll take our walks My neighborhood is very quiet and residential. There are a lot of good trails and stairwells that provide quite a bit of incline on walks. There are also several small dog parks near by. Your dog's sleeping arrangement My dog, Charlie, sleeps in my bed. I am happy to have your dog on my bed as well, but will cater to whatever method works best for you at your home. I understand that every owner has different training regiments for their dogs when it comes to where they sleep. Time I'll spend with your dog I work during the week (9am-6pm), so my availability to play with your dog would be outside those hours. However, my house is very pet friendly and my dog, Charlie, stays inside most days while I am at work. On the weekends, I will be able to play with your dog around the clock.
