A pet-friendly house for your dog!

Pet care experience

I have a wonderful home built for dogs! I have a fenced-in backyard to play ball or just hang out in the sun. All the furniture is ready for sleep and snuggles during the day. And, the king-sized bed is best when the fur buddies are hanging out at night. I live near Frick, which is the best place for walks, and the Heritage Trail, which is a non-muddy place for walks when it's raining :) And, I only watch one family of dogs at a time so your furry friends won't have to worry about navigating other pets.

Brad was great with my senior dog! Gave our dog lots of love and gave us plenty of updates! Would book again!

This was our second time leaving our dog in Brad's care. Brad has been great watching Murphy at his house. He sends us updates and pictures every day. Murphy had a great time and was very excited to see Brad when we dropped him off this time around.

Our dog had a great stay with Brad! His house was amazingly dog friendly and he provided regular updates. Highly Recommend! Thanks Brad!

Brad is the best. I think our Corgi love Brad more than he loves us. Just kidding. Ted settled in and had a great weekend. He particularly loved being able to sit/lay at Brad’s big front window to supervise everything outside (a real big deal for a Corgi).

While I've never had an incident, you should feel comfortable knowing that The Big Easy Animal Hospital is just down the street and PVSEC is about 15 minutes away. I used both for my boy Maxx when he got sick so the doctors and techs know me!

Non-smoking household

Dogs allowed on bed
Dogs allowed on furniture
Potty breaks every 2-4 hours

Information Brad K. would like to know about your pet

I would love to know as much information as you have. I like dogs to keep their same routines as what they have at home. It makes everyone happier. So: feeding times, any special needs, particular loves, and cues your dog gives to humans. (Maxx the Dog used to tap the coffee table when he was hungry!)

A typical day

When I'm home, we definitely play ball in the backyard. (Sometimes, we play ball in the house, too!!) Frick is one of my favorite parks to walk, but if it's rainy and your pet loves water the way mine used to then it's the Heritage Trail!!

I work at Carnegie Mellon on a hybrid schedule. I'm on campus three days a week, but your pet will never be away from a human for more than three or four hours most days as I don't have a traditional office job. I'm a writer and editor. When I'm home, your pet and I will either be on the sofa working and in my library. Both places have comfy dog beds and blankets!
