I have spent over 30 years taking care of dogs, mine and other people's. Dogs are my favorite animal and I always try to play with dogs I meet in public places. I have for years volunteered with NEARR (New Enland All Retriever Rescue). It felt very satisfying to give a dog in need another chance at life. I live next to several nature reserves and have a large yard so a dog should be comfortable here. I also have a very flexible schedule and expect to be able to spend time with the dog and keep any dog in my care entertained. Spiritual wellbeing is very important for dogs - that is something I am quite aware of. I am trying my best to take the best care of them because in a way I feel like we always owe them for their unconditional love and affection.
