+Our sweet boxer, Sophie left us June 2021 to cross over the rainbow bridge. I miss her terribly and will love having your fur baby to love on. *UPDATED: 1-1-2019. I have gone to work part-time, so am not always available during the day M/W/F, to let younger dogs/puppies out. Preferred to have potty trained - doesn't need out less than 7hrs and crated trained pets. thanks, Bonnie >;0)*** Our kid with fur (Sophie/10 yr old, female boxer) loves having friends over . . . Hi, I'm Bonnie - let me take care of your fur child while you relax and know they are being loved on and taken care of, with plenty of fun & treats. House on acre in Dogwood Estates/Bloomington. Our kids are all grown & looking for occ play time for our own dog; easy to go on walks in addition or run in field behind house. >>>I do send clients pictures of their pet, while spending time with us.<<< About this sitter: Mother of 4 grown children; (family in IL raised boxers as I was young growing up); have my own direct sales business, love to do crafts and garden. Why I love dog sitting . . . for as long as I remember. When young growing up, always had a boxer on the farm and folks raised boxers for while. After I got married (40+ yrs ago), 4 mo later we got our own dog and have had one every since, esp when the kids came along. About my yard 1 acre lot, >>>not fenced<<<; backs up to an empty field; neighbors have 2 dogs on invisible fence on one side and no dogs on other side - neither have fences to separate our properties. FYI: ***Would rather have SMALL to MEDIUM DOG & only ONE AT A TIME*** - this means most dogs over 60lbs to me are large, so please don't ask us to watch your 70-80+ lb dog (Rover needs to have a cut off between 41-100!). +Also, I like ADVANCE NOTICE, WITH MEET AND GREET, so can see if good fit before booking stay. +Early drop off (before 9am) & late pick up (after 8pm), needs to be booked as extra day stay. Have ?, just ask . . . My experience administering medication Yes - have had to rarely for our dog and have given to neighbors dog when watching them.

Bonnie is a fantastic caretaker! I have asked her help twice and her support is alway so precious! Chubby enjoyed stayed with Bonnie and being chill on couch. Bonnie sent lots of pictures and kept me updated about Chubby’s daily news. It was great experience working with Bonnie!

We do not have a fenced yard, but can take your pet on walks around our yard/neighborhood. We also have a tie out, if your dog likes to be outside more during the day.

Dogs temperament > if needs special attention (we do not have a fenced yard, our dog was trained for no fencing and neighbor with 2 dogs have invisible fence, so we have no problem with our dogs go into each others yards). We do have a long tie out, if your pet needs to be out for a bit of an extended time vs just potty breaks, etc.
A typical day
Here's where we'll take our walks in our neighborhood - very little traffic and easy walk that I do a few times a week with my own dog, weather permitting. (if someone is available to walk my dog, would take them on walking trails in Bloomington, but wouldn't want to try and rangle my dog and another dog at same time). Your dog's sleeping arrangement Family room, on main level; recommend bring dogs pillow/bed if possible. Our dog has her own pillow/bed in family room. Time I'll spend with your dog most of the time, unless I have an appt or need to run errands, etc.
