Pet care experience
I have 15+ years professional experience with a background in grooming, boarding, and training (including training dogs to guide the blind). My own dog passed away of cancer and I am looking to love on YOUR dog(s) until I am ready to get another. I am a National K9 certified professional trainer, and recently returned to working very part time limited hours training dogs some limited nights/weekends. When not working, I am home with my two kids (ages 5 and 7) but we also LOVE taking dogs on walks and being outdoors. I am a trainer with a big heart devoted to one on one care for YOUR dog. I am most familiar with medium and large breed dogs, but comfortable with all shapes and sizes. I would love to give your dog(s) the ONE on ONE attention they deserve (and that you can feel comfortable with) when you just aren't able to! Because I work some nights/weekends, I am not looking to take most weekend-only bookings at this time - with school letting out, we are looking to take on more of those summer vacation, week-long requests at this time.

This was our first time leaving our 11 year old dogs with someone we don’t know, I was very hesitant and nervous but Bonnie made the experience so relaxing! She stayed in contact so I knew my pups were happy and safe and out my mind at ease!
Bonnie was everything we could have asked for in watching Colt! It was important to us to find a sitter who only takes 1 client at a time, so we're glad to have found Bonnie. The regular updates made us comfortable knowing Colt was in good hands and that he had a lovely family around him. Thanks Bonnie, we'll be reaching out for next time!
Bonnie has watched our little guys twice. She is very attentive to his needs. She walked him daily and gave him his meds as scheduled. Love the love she has for the fury babies. Would highly recommend her.

I typically request a Meet and Greet before booking to make sure we are a good match for each other. My small children LOVE dogs, but are still a little small to be with non-stop high energy large breed dogs or skittish/snappy small dogs. We want you and your dog to be comfortable, and for us all to have a wonderful time together! Your dog should be comfortable in a crate for short periods of time if we need to leave the house, and I have a lot of nature and wildlife near me, so good flea and tick preventatives are important too!
