Pet care experience
I have had pets of my own, from 8 weeks to 14.5 years old, and have cared for others pets from dogs, cats, birds, fish to racoons and horses all my life! Some have been sick or edlderly dogs which required giving them medication (oral, oto & ophthalmic) and baths due to accidents and or side effects of the medications. I believe that when you/we are away from our fur (or feathered) children, just like our human children, we NEED to know they are loved and cared for just as if we were caring for them.

If boarding dogs, they have access to a fenced in medium sized yard with a dog door from the living room so potty and out door play are always accessible. Currently I have a long term (till the end of April) dog in the home. I have a baby gate and separate entrance to keep them apart IF needed. If I am coming to your place during the week the idea is to take them out before and after work, with the possibility, depending on location, of once during the day on my lunch hour. I am very out-doorsey and enjoy walks/hikes. On weekends, I am always outside and would like to be able to take them on a hike (I have mud matts in my car).

Do they have any special needs, likes or dislikes such as other people, kids, dogs. Are they food territorial? What is the maximum amount of miles can they walk at one time. Would you prefer I always have them on leash (I am most comfortable with on leash walks).
A typical day
I like to go to local greenbelts and parks. By house there are two close by. On weekends I like to go Auburn and walk the extensive trail system.

I work full time Monday through Friday typically 8:30 am -5 pm, with some flexibility, at Mercy General/Dignity Health and occasionally from home in Sacramento/Elk Grove, just off the 99 and Calvine.
