The more instructions you give me, the better I can accommodate your pet and its needs. I strive to keep things as normal as possible for your pet while you are away, so it is great when you can describe their usual routines.
A typical day
Physical and mental stimulation helps a pet have a great day, so I will play with your pet in the manner it is accustomed to according to your instructions. If your pet prefers to be left alone (and simply checked on), I can do that, too. Every pet is different, and I treat them as individuals.

Pet care experience
I have experience housesitting and pet sitting, and have flown 2 states away to care for a home with 2 mastiffs, one small dog, and 2 cats. Our current dog is 4H trained and Canine Good Citizen Certified. Our first family dog was a Boerboel (mastiff). I grew up on a dairy farm caring for calves and cows, as well as farm cats and dogs.

Bonnie stayed at our home for several days while we were on vacation, and we couldn’t have asked for a better person to care for our pets. We have three dogs and two cats, and she went above and beyond to make sure each one was not only well taken care of, but also loved and comfortable in our absence. Bonnie is incredibly trustworthy, organized, and clearly has a natural connection with animals. It was such a relief to know our pets were in capable, caring hands.
