I grew up in a household with three large dogs that I helped care for, and I currently own a Golden-Retriever. I have pet sat/house sat for families with large and small dogs, crated and non-crated, indoor and outdoor, and with various health needs - e.g. requiring daily pills or topical ointments. In college, my roommates and I fostered dogs through Athens Canine Rescue, helping to crate and house train them. Because I have owned three dogs for the entirety of their lifespan, I am competent in caring for both young, rambunctious puppies as well as older, more frail dogs. I also own two cats and am knowledgeable about cohabiting pets as well as dogs that are not friendly towards cats or other dogs.
