Pet care experience
Hi, we’re Bonnie and Danny, serving our Widefield Rover community together as a team for 8+ years on Rover! **PLEASE READ ALL DESCRIPTIONS BEFORE MESSAGING US** We own one unaltered male lab and 1 old cat. WE ONLY BOARD DOGS THAT CURRENTLY LIVE PEACEFULLY WITH CATS. If not, WE DO NOT ACCEPT THEM. We know the damage unfamiliar dogs can cause with cats so we don't even go there. Your dog(s) will enjoy vacationing in our home while you are away! We love to have them sleep and hang out wherever they are used to at home. We enjoy walking the dogs around the nearby track in the evenings and lounging around watching tv after! Your cat(s) will stay in our daughter's room or my office depending on your preference since the cats don't easily socialize like the dogs! And we know some cats like pate and others don't so you just tell us whatever your furrbabies need and they'll get it!

Bonnie is always so nice and our dog, Max, always runs right into the yard and house. Max gets a lot of attention which he really enjoys.

Our Philosophy: We are comfortable with dogs that currently live with cats ONLY. We operate in a pack-like environment. Let us know where they prefer to stay during the day, sleep, eat, etc. Please read through the following and see if you and your Rover are a good fit, thank you! Your Rover will be a good fit if they... - are fantastic with kids of all ages - currently live with cats - are up to date on all shots including kennel cough (Bordetella) and license/registration - will stay within a medium four foot fenced yard and respond to us if they jump over it while we are in the yard with them - are not overly excited about and do not chase squirrels, birds, bunnies and other outdoor wildlife in your yard We are a good fit if you live by these philosophies too! - life happens and a mild scuffle within the pack is normal - dogs are unpredictable and anything is possible - anything you drop off with your pup may not return it its same condition (if at all) - Filling out the Rover.com Care Sheet is a good way to make sure we feed your Rover correctly - You can provide license # and proof of vaccinations I understand that this philosophy is not for everyone so if me, Danny, my children and our fur babies sound like a good fit you and your Rover, please let me know! We would love to meet you soon!
A typical day
We treat your dog or cat as a part of our family while sticking with the rules that you have in your home to avoid confusion. We walk the dogs around the school track by our house if they need to burn off extra energy and let them sleep in our daughters rooms, our room or wherever you prefer.

Availability
We have a very active home-life with a lot of kids. The 2 primarily around Rover clients are 6, 13. Danny and I have a special place in our hearts for our elderly clients and have a lot of experience administering required medications including syringe & subq. Bonnie works from home so your kiddo(s) are rarely alone besides an occasional errand.
