Flexible hours & love walking!

Pet care experience

It started at three, when I visited my grandparents and made sure to know every dog on the entire country block. There, I also had my first dog and have had one in my life, one way or another, ever since. I have always loved dogs, helped in training, walking and entertaining them and now my little one loves to join in the fun! Each dog is different and I do my best to treat them according to their unique preference, whether it's loads of snuggles, longer walks, playing catch or a little wrestling. I have experience with potty training and some basic commands. From puppy to aged pup, from farm sitting to house sitting, you can rest assure your furry friend will feel safe and cared for with me. I currently am only offering in-home of the pet stays. I look forward to meeting you and your pets!

I always feel lucky when Bonnie is staying with my pets because I know my elder dog, wild cat, and my home are safe in her hands.

Bonnie and her daughter Noni became family through the love and care they gave to our dogs Keanu and Tara. The moment we met them, as they walked into our home, Sandy and I knew we met the best of the best in terms of caring people. Their considerate nature was felt not only by the attention they gave to our buddies, also in the way they took care of our home. Let me be more clear. This was the first time I had left Keanu with anyone. He is a 4-year-old Yorkie Poo. I would take a bullet for him. Keanu is my best friend, and allowing someone I had just met through a pet-sitting service to care for him was unthinkable. When I first met Bonnie and Noni it felt like a blessing. I could go on and on, but I think you’ve got a good picture of the experience you and your pets will have if you’re lucky enough to have Bonnie and Noni take care of them. I also want to mention that when we came home from our 3-day trip, the house was in better shape than we left it. They washed all the sheets and tidied up everything. It felt like they were never there. Two problems I have to mention, regarding the fee for their service, they don’t charge enough for all that they do. And when they left the look in our buddies' eyes communicated, why did our new best friends leave?

Bonnie was amazing as always. I love having her watch our dogs and feel like I can relax when I’m away knowing my bulldogs are getting the best care possible❤️

Bonnie was great with Dolly, was super conscientious about her schedule and getting the details right. She sent us cute pics of cuddling and was a fantastic communicator. Best of all, our pup seems to love her and her daughter, so happy to have found her!

Currently, I do not offer stays in my own home as I find it best to do in-home stays where the pet is most accustomed. I do my best to maintain the dogs regular routine.

Information Bonnie D. would like to know about your pet

I prefer to work with non-aggressive dogs. This is not breed specific. However, your pet must like children and be open to socialization. Before dog sitting, I would like to know any specifics needed to care for your dog during your absence. This includes, but is not limited to, feeding times, food amounts, medications, medication times and administering method, preferred toy, play habits, and potty routine. If your dog is afraid of anything, has any special needs or behaviors to be aware of. Please also advise of any special hiding spaces or safe places you dog may retreat to if nervous or needing to unwind.

A typical day

When staying with a dog, (s)he may enjoy neighborhood walks, petting, cuddling and playing. I like to keep the dogs schedule as close to routine and regular to ease any transition while away from and returning to their owner.
