Hello! I am originally from Buffalo, NY, but moved to Maine to attend graduate school. I met my fiance here and am staying here for good! We have two cats, Theodore and Alvin, standard poodle, Belize, and horse Simon. I grew up showing Standard Poodles and Miniature Dachshunds in American Kennel Club shows, competing in 4H shows with my dogs, and training my dogs in obedience and agility. I also grew up showing horses and competed in college. I have extensive animal knowledge including animal first aid. I am reliable and a loving and attentive animal person. I am a very experienced dog walker, cuddler, caretaker, et cetra, et cetra. I grew up helping my mom who owns a Grooming Salon and breeds standard poodles and miniature dachshunds. My childhood and early adulthood were consumed by dog shows, horse shows, 4-H camp, and anything else that involved animals. I also have dog walked and house sat for families with one to many dogs (and cats). I work from 8-5 Monday through Friday. I am available to house-sit / dog watch and walk around those hours. Bonnie is the ideal dog sitter. She has experience with dogs of all different sizes, ages, and breeds. Bonnie's mom is a breeder and so taking care of dogs is second nature to Bonnie. She also has an incredible knowledge of dogs' needs and habits. Above all else, however, Bonnie loves dogs and she will do everything she can for your dog.
Bonnie grew up with dogs and she truly loves and understands and them. She is also one of the most responsible people I know and one of the few people I would trust to take care of my pup because I know he would be in capable hands. I would wholeheartedly recommend Bonnie as a dog sitter or walker!

I love all dogs! But, I asked that owner please detail any temperament issues that I should be aware of before meeting the dog. It will not scare me away, but I prefer to meet each dog at the level that they are at.
A typical day
I enjoy cuddling with dogs-- on the floor, on the couch, wherever! Your fluffy friend will feel loved and cared for with me. I enjoy playing (running around, playing tug, throwing the ball) with dogs. We'll have a good time!
