Hi, my name is Bonnie! I’ve been caring for pets of all shapes and sizes for over 12 years, from Santa Fe to Brooklyn, and I’m looking to continue my work here in San Antonio. I’m Brooklyn Bark pet first-aid/CPR certified, so if anything were to happen, your furry friend would be in capable paws! While I can't possibly pick the one thing I love most about dogs, I think I can say one of the things I love most about them is how intuitive they are, how they read energy and act on it. Every dog has their own personality, just like people do, and it's important for me as a caretaker of animals to be able to intuit dogs the way they intuit us. There isn’t anything better than being able to provide pups with the love and care they need. Making sure that both owners and pups feel comfortable and well taken care of is my number one priority. I'm quick to respond to communication from pet parents, I send updates every day, as well as pictures and video, and I make sure to ask questions when I need to. I have a lot of supplies in addition to that which is provided, and being the girl scout that I am, I'm always prepared. I go the extra mile to ensure everyone is not only comfortable, but happy that I’m the one taking care of their animals. I live in a quiet apartment complex with a great dog park, and it's down the street from a local park--which is a perfect dog-friendly area. We’ll definitely be able to get plenty of exercise together! Whatever your dog’s activity level or favorite method of play, I’m happy to help tucker out your pup so they’re happy and settled. We used Bonnie for about a year, she seemed very kind with our dogs and they were happy. Throughout the year, she showed up about 75% of the times we scheduled and I always tried to give her the benefit of the doubt when she missed appointments. However one week, she did not show up at all without any contact or explanation, took our money that was paid upfront and we haven’t heard from her since (this was about 7 months ago). Unfortunately, I do not recommend.
Bonnie took especial care of my cat while I was working overseas for 5 weeks. The frequent updates, the details she shared with me, the cute photos, all of this was reassuring during my long separation. A warming, loving person, she made my absence a lot easier on my pet.
It was truly a huge comfort to know our fur baby was so well taken care of by Bonnie while we were away. Thank you Bonnie!
Bonnie was excellent! Our pups enjoyed her and were 100% stress free. Great communication. We will be a repeat client for sure.
