*We don't have any dogs ourselves but we do have Ruby, my Mother's dog, that stays with us here and there. Her details have been included in my profile. My appreciation for pets came at a very young age. We always had anywhere from 1 to 3 pets around the house so kept us busy with responsibility of basic daily needs and attention. I still remember the day we got our very first puppy, a Golden Retriever. During the day he was a very playful happy young puppy but the first night, in a new place, needed some comfort. That is what I'm hoping to offer while you are away, a fun atmosphere for your pet and the best possible comfort he or she may need! We have a spacious fenced in backyard, plenty of room to play fetch or get some fresh air. While it's warm, the kids and enjoy walks around the neighborhood and depending on behavior on leash, with permission of owners, we have enjoyed some hikes at High Cliff. We had an awesome experience with Abbey. Our dog was happy and relaxed when we picked her up. Abbey sent daily communication and pictures. We will definitely board Java with her again.
Our dog had a great time with Abbey-Marie and her family! We received several photos and updates throughout his visit. He had a great time and really enjoyed the fenced in backyard. We will definitely be rebooking.
Abbey was very kind and sent me updates on how my dog Sven was doing the whole time.
She was fantastic! Memphis had a blast. I loved getting pictures of him playing. He did not have any stress or anxiety while we where gone. I will definitely be a repeat customer over and over again. She was so polite and friendly as well.

For safety in our home, our kids know the rules on which doors to use or not with dogs around to prevent escaping. I started watching dogs when I became a stay-at-home Mom in 2016, the kids and my husband will treat your dog as one of our own.

We have up to 3 dogs at a time(sometimes 4), most of the dogs are regulars and show wonderful behavior and socialization with others with minimal or no barking. I hope yours will too! *Proof of up to date vaccines and flee preventive will be greatly appreciated. *Please no drop offs before 6:30 am. Everything else will be discussed at meet and greet, which normally takes around 15 minutes at our home.
A typical day
We love to play or chill outside, so whether it's playing fetch, playing with sticks, walking, or sun bathing, your furry friend will not get bored! Inside, depending on the dog size, is more than welcome on furniture to cuddle or get a belly rub.

Availability
I do work 2 hours per day, along with minor volunteer duty Monday-Friday during the school year. During the summer, we're gone around the same amount of time for summer sports.
