I have almost always had a dog in my home. My parents raised dachshund puppies so I am familiar with the needs of the mothers and puppies. Dogs have always been some of my best friends. I treat them with love and kindness and am drawn to other people's dogs, I always say hello when I meet them on the street. I even sometimes say hello to the dogs before I say hello to the person walking them because I am so excited to see them. Each one is so special. Because of this, they also seem drawn to me. I have no doubt that your dog will feel comfortable with me as well. I will do everything I can to make your pet's visit enjoyable for them and will strive to become their friend so we will look forward to seeing each other again. I am retired and pretty flexible most days particularly if I have a little notice. I will be gone for short periods of time to run errands and will work around your pet's needs. I am in a ground floor condo which accommodates pets and has a small private backyard plus plenty of room to walk a dog on a leash. I love to walk myself and will cheerfully walk your dog as needed. Our son's little family lives in our basement. They have two small boys who will be excited to see your pet(s) and fun to play with, but be assured that we will only allow the boys to play with your pet if it is mutually enjoyable to all of them and it is agreeable to you. Your pet will be treated as our special guest at all times.
