I have always had a pet in my home, and I couldn't imagine my house without a dog. My wife and I have traded dog sitting favors with friends many times over the years, and I always consider it just fun instead of a chore. I work from home, so I will be present most of the time that dogs are being cared for. I love spoiling dogs with lots of attention! I work from home part time and am an online grad student, so I will be able to walk/entertain/cuddle with dogs quite frequently throughout each day of the week. We have a fenced in back yard with plenty of space for dogs to run around. The neighborhood is full of sidewalks, so walking dogs is easy. House-trained dogs are allowed on the couch and bed. We currently have one small dog named Murray who is fairly low energy and gets along with most other dogs. If dogs need to be separated for any reason, we do have an adjustable gate.
