Pet care experience
Growing up, we had a family dog (Cookie, our Golden Retriever). Throughout his life, I fed, walked, and bathed him. Once I became a teenager, I began to dog sit for neighbors and family friends. I have worked with dogs of all ages, as well as many different breeds. I have also worked with reactive dogs, anxious dogs, and dogs who require daily medication. I also am currently raising my own dog (a Standard Schnauzer) who I have had since he was 8 weeks old.

I care for every pet that I watch as if they were my own. I use a leash when taking dogs for a walk, especially if they live in a busy area. I have experience with crate training as I have crate trained my own puppy. Safety and health come first- always. I will consistently monitor your dog the way that I monitor my own and communicate any concerns to you immediately. I also respect all pet parent wishes regarding their fur baby.

Please also communicate any behavioral challenges (e.g. reactive on leash, aggressive towards other dogs, fearful of other dogs). I want to make sure I am the right fit for your dog!
A typical day
Besides taking them on walks, I love to play with the dogs I watch! We will play their favorite games and with their favorite toys! I love using Doggy Swimming Pools in the summer to cool them down! We also will play games to stimulate their minds!

Availability
Currently, I work as a teacher by day. However, once summer vacation comes, I have more flexibility in my schedule. Beginning June 15th, I will have full-day availability with some minor restrictions. Due to another job, there are a few hours each weekend that I am unavailable.
