I have raised two dogs of my own, both of which I do not have in my care anymore. I raised an 8-week old half Australian Shepherd/half Labrador female and a 7-week old German Shepherd male up until they were about 3 years of age. My mother had a female Pitbull, who I cared for as needed, and she now has a half toy poodle/half chihuahua male who is almost 10 years old who I also care for as needed.
