Happily FURever After

Pet care experience

**AVAILABLE FOR DROP-IN VISITS AND OVER-NIGHT/IN OUR HOME. **WE HAVE MOVED FROM SPRING BRANCH AREA AS OF 3/2022** WE ARE IN THE CYPRESS AREA NEAR TOMBALL MEMORIAL HIGH (HAYDEN LAKES) - 77429** From $37/night Monday-Sunday. Rates can vary depending on size of dog, and age of dog. If you are a first-time rover.com user, please ask for our promo-code for a first-time discount! **Holidays are priced at $45/night** Thank you to our loyal clients. We LOVE all the furbabies so much and can't wait to meet as many of these sweet angels in 2024. We are available for your small-medium breed (0-40 lbs) in our home or yours and larger breeds in your home. Senior babies are also welcomed. For the safety and well-being of all dogs in our care, we ONLY sit dogs that are two years and older and are spayed/neutered. They must be house broken (trained to go outside). We do not use pee pads in our home. If your furbaby is still using pee pads, we will not be able to care for them. We’d be happy to keep your pup entertained while you’re away for the day or night. If you have ever been worried about your fur-baby getting competent, kindhearted attention and care while you are away, we understand. It's the worst feeling. Lots of guilt. Lots of sadness as you leave your babies behind at a loud, smelly, expensive, caged in, and impersonal pet resort or kennel. You get on that plane or on the road and wonder how your pup is doing, feeling, eating and/or sleeping. It does not need to be this way. Board your pup with a real family and in a real home. My husband and I are dog-lovers (we have six of our own) and would love to be the family and the home for your pup! You can have a real vacation....not worrying about your pup's care, safety and happiness, and KNOWING, your pup is having a vacation, too. We have a humble, 2800 sq ft, and comfortable home with a nice-sized, and completely fenced in backyard. My husband and I are professionals. I teach at the college level at Lone Star, and my husband works for an energy/utility company. We both adore any dog, and in general, are major animal lovers as we rescue and foster. We do keep full time careers, but do have some flexibility in schedule. I work out of the home most days and spend good time with our own canine brood; five of which were rescued. Cora (passed away in 2020), Lola (passed away in 2023), Chica, Perla, Roxy, Sera, Lucia, and Rams are our adored family members, and we cannot see life without these beauties. They are smaller breeds – Pomeranians, one Chihuahua mix, a Pit Mix, and a Black Mouth Cur mix. Our dogs are sweet, are fixed, have all their shots and treatments, and get along well with other dogs super well. We don't have any kids, cats or other non-dog pets. If you want your pup to be around a settled and socialized furfamily, we are the place. Your fur-babies will spend their time lounging out in a cool, casual and comfy home as we cook in our kitchen, watch television, drink coffee, talk, listen to soothing music, clean, read, hang out in our fenced-in backyard, and pay lots of attention to them with hugs, kisses, loving belly rubs, treats, and walks around our neighborhood 1 time a day (if you desire). We'd love to have your sweet pup stay with our fur family when you're away. Feel assured that your furry friend is content and safe. You will not worry about your baby being lonely, nervous, afraid, or uncomfortable. Your fur-friend will be happy, cool, comfortable, relaxed, loved on and tended to just as if he/she were home with you. Here's what to expect: - Home is clean, smoke-free, child-free, and dog-friendly, and includes an enclosed, outdoor yard for playtime and much-needed bathroom breaks. We used to allow our dogs to sleep with us in the bed, but husband has bad asthma. However, our dogs and guests can play and sleep on the leather furniture as much as they like. - We want you and your pup to be happy --- bring your dog’s best food, blanket, bed, and favorite treats, so he/she feels even closer to home and you while with us. - We are loving and competent -- your baby will receive compassionate and excellent care (to your specificity and requirements). My husband loves to play with the pups, and I love to cuddle them. Together, we make a great care team! - We are accommodating -- we try to be as flexible as possible for pick up and drop off on weekends, holidays, and last minute situations (7am to 10pm) - We live in a family-friendly community -- there are several award-winning vet clinics nearby. - We don't charge extra for administering meds, cuddles, rubs, play time, walks, etc. We do what comes natural when it comes to making your/our pups happy and healthy! - We are reasonable --- we provide custom quotes for first-time (advance reservations), repeat and extended stays - You will get PLENTY of pictures and updates as the days pass, so you will never ever feel too far away from your baby. Happily Fur-EVER After is what we want for your puppyloves and YOU. We mean it. Happy happy pups, make for happy happy owners. We love dogs, and believe your dogs will love us!

We believe communication is IMPORTANT. Please call or text BEFORE dropping in. We may be out running errands. Please call or text immediately if you will be late picking up or dropping off. We are a regular family that has regular obligations, so it is courteous to let us know if you will be late. What are their habits (good and less good)? Are they generally nice? Do they like small dogs? How do they interact with other dogs generally? What are their favorite pastimes? How do they eat? Do they mark? Do they have any special needs? Do they have allergies? What is the best way to make your pup feel at home?

A typical day

Here's where we'll take our walks We have great parks nearby. Those are great for a stroll in the morning or evening when it is cooler outside. Your dog's sleeping arrangement Your pup can sleep ANYWHERE he/she pleases (just not our bed). =) Our home is for our dogs. We let them be comfortable where they are happy to be. If that is on the couch, OK. If that is on the bed, OK. If that is on the floor, OK, or under the bed, OK. We have two dogs that love their crates, so that is where they dream happy thoughts. We have two dogs that sleep with us. We want them to sleep well wherever that may be. Time I'll spend with your dog 7-8 hours a day during teaching months (4 hours in the morning and 4-5 hours in the evening and night). I teach classes in the fall and spring, so I may leave to attend/teach class, and then return home to the pups. 10-15 hours a day during the summer months. During the summer, I am home most of the day on weekdays and home almost all day during the weekend days.
