I've always grew up in households with dogs and I miss it now that I'm living on my own in the city! I've loved and cared for many dogs in my life from a tiny anxious Dachshund mix, to a very calm Shiba Inu, to an energetic two-year-old Golden Retriever. In addition to my own home, I volunteered at Dakin Humane Society in Leveret, Massachusetts throughout high school, which mainly involved feeding, walking, and socializing the animals, as well as cleaning their cages and play areas.
