I grew up with dogs and enjoy their company. I don't think dog sitting requires any "special" skills. I signed up for this app because I genuinely enjoy being personable with dogs and am happy to handle any additional responsibilities a dog may require. If you're out of town I'm someone that will care about your pet's well being. This app is attractive to me because I both get to make some additional income while getting to hang out with a dog; that's a win win. Plus I'd like to own my own dog someday soon and I believe this would be a good training or preview. My parent's dogs live at their house and I'm sure they'd be willing to give a solid reference if you'd like their contact info just ask.
