Pet care experience
I’ve grown up with dogs of all sizes such as Pomeranians , chihuahuas , Rottweilers and so on. I also have experience in caring for cats. I have two little fur babies of my own (female black haired cats) and treat all animals as if they were my own. I love play time more than anything especially when it results in cute and dorky pictures of them enjoying their play time. I also did quite a bit of volunteering at the human society in Daytona before moving, as well as doggy day care. I have spent years working with different breeds and enjoy being around animals in general, so happy to meet new pets and getting to know them. I’m very good at oral medications as I’ve had to do a few during my time doing doggy day care if we had an overnight stay or just was their regular medication time.

Blake helps me with dogsitting when I’m out of town; he takes the time to understand the individual personality and tendencies of my dog, and I can tell she feels comfortable with him. He’s considerate of the things she doesn’t like and is very gentle with her.
Blake is truly such a warm hearted and gentle person. He will treat your pets not only with care but with deep love as if they were his own, and leaving my pets with him makes me feel completely at ease.

I have a long list of things whether plants or certain perfumes/ air fresheners I don’t allow in my home since cats have a lot of things that can be harsh for them and never want to make their home unsafe. I also make sure to check blinds, windows and anything frequently in my house to make sure nothing may be exposed or damaged to harm them as well. When I’m someone’s home, I ask in depth questions to see if there is specific spots that a pet is not allowed or may have allergies so should be weary of anything on me. On walks, I always am mindful of my surroundings as don’t want any dog to eat anything while we are out or be approached by any animals that may not seem friendly right away.

I like to know what each pet likes and dislikes, especially food. Both my girls are on a special diet so I want to make sure every pet who may have special needs, gets them and feels comfortable and safe. If they are shy, or very friendly and maybe have things they are still being trained in. It makes it easier for me to take care of them and have fun. I also really prefer meeting them as well any info that may be helpful to make taking care of them more fun
A typical day
I love taking animals on little walk adventures, seeing new area or familiar ones that make them happy and content, when playing. Depending on how owners enjoy treats, I love using treat trays that keep them engaged and stimulate their senses. Fetch, belly rubs and so on are everything to me. For cats, seeing what toys they enjoy, sunny spots or anything to make them happy but not feel overwhelmed

Availability
I am working part time so I do have flexibility and have previous experience with house sitting a doxi for over a month period time. I also do ask in depth questions in case the house and pet has extra needs or any other things that I need to be aware of. I do a lot of physical activity so walking daily is a way for me to relax and having a furry friend with me definitely makes it more enjoyable. I’ve also found new parks from owners who would tell me their pet’s favorite paths within my old town. I also make sure to set enough time aside in my day so any dog or cat gets the most attention and care they need as it’s my top priority
