ASK ME ABOUT SAVING $20 ON YOUR FIRST BOOKING. :) I have extensive experience with petsitting - dogs and cats for 11 years and for the last 21 years, fish, reptiles, and small mammals. If housesitting, I'm available to stay in your home with your pet overnight or treat the stay as a series of drop-in visits, depending on your preference. As a vegan and animal advocate, I will love and treat your pet as my own! I'm a rescue pet parent to two dogs, a rabbit, and a gecko.

Biota took great care of our girls and allowed us a stress free vacation!
Biota is absolutely wonderful. We were away for a week and she stayed at our house and took care of our two dogs, rabbit, gecko and fish. One of the dogs had an upset stomach and she cleaned his accident and made him homemade chicken and rice to help his issue. She sent text updates and pictures. She even took care of all of our plants. We were able to relax while being far from home. We came home to a spotless house and very happy animals.
Biota was great watching our two dogs. She went above and beyond not only watching them but addressing a few mishaps we had with our house after we had left. We appreciate her staying and doing a great job.
Biota was a great fit for our puppy! My pup had never stayed with someone unfamiliar and Biota made her feel so welcome! She met with us before hand to understand our pup better and sent us pictures to check in during her stay. She even cleaned up after our pup when she had an accident in the house. I always take everything at the animal's pace, am familiar with reading dog/cat body language, and have experience dealing with animals that may be sensitive or fearful. I own a home with a fenced-in yard in a residential corner of southwest Hartford. We walk our own dogs in the neighborhood regularly, and Goodwin Park is a walkable distance away for pets that need the extra exercise. There are many friendly dogs in my neighborhood, and I'm happy to set up playdates.

I am interested in understanding the dog's background, preferences/dislikes, medications, special needs, and anything else that will make caretaking easier for both of us! I recommend being able to meet the dog before I take care of him/her.
A typical day
We will go on walks in the neighborhood or nearby parks and play games like fetch, adjusted to fit the energy level of the dog. Love a long petting session too, if that's what the pup enjoys!

I work a full-time corporate job with typical hours where I have flexibility to work from home whenever I choose, so your pet will get whatever attention that they need!
